From October 1 to October 4, the 6th Asian College Student Film Fair (AUFF) was held in Busan, South Korea. The film festival is co-sponsored by BFA, Communication University of China, Chung-Ang University, Dongseo University, Kyungsung University and the Arts Department of Japan NIHON UNIV. It aims to promote multi-level communication between film and television education and film creation among Asian universities, which has been one of the influential youth film festival exhibitions. The film festival is held in rotation in China, Japan and South Korea generally and it was hosted by Dongseo University of South Korea this year. Universities from China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and other countries selected nearly 400 short films with rich content to exhibit. Among them, 52 works from 24 universities were shortlisted for film festivals, including that four short film selected by our school BFA such as Oct, Unstoppable, Lost on the Branch, Wonderland and other films were shortlisted on this film festival. The dean of International School Li Ran, deputy director of Youth Film Studio Chen Liang, a young teacher of Department of Directing Li Chen and nominated film directors went to Busan to participate in the film festival.
Representatives from such universities as Beijing Film Academy, Communication University of China, Shanghai Theater Academy, Nanjing University of the Arts, Dongseo University, Kyungsung University, Nihon University, Bangkok University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the industry management agencies such as the Korean Film Council participated in the film festival together to actively negotiate and conduct in-depth exchanges on film education, film industry and film academy in Asia.

During the period of film festival, representatives of the host schools held a working meeting of the organizing committee to share their teaching experience and ideas and ideas for hosting the film festival in order to design and plan for the future development of Asian university student film festivals and inter-school cooperation in Asian countries. Teachers and students watched and discussed the entries from various countries together. Scholars, experts and student authors from China, Japan and South Korea conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges. The photographic director of the film The Villainess shared his creative ideas with the teachers and students through “Master Lecture”. Of which, especially his new ideas and new techniques for contemporary film's long shots were greatly benefited the audience. The three teachers of our school were also invited to have talks with relevant persons in charge of the Busan Film Academy to communicate about the future cooperation that the two schools can carry out.

On October 4th, the 6th Asian College Student Film Exhibition has concluded successfully. Teacher Li Yan made a closing speech on behalf of our school. Li Ran congratulated the successful holding of the film festival and praised the Asian University Student Film Festival for its good role in promoting cultural exchanges between Asian countries. In addition, teacher Li said that BFA will continue to work hard and contribute to the Asian film education and film exchange in the future.
With the president of Dongseo University Jekuk Chang announcing the winning results of gold awards, the highest award of this year's Film Festival was won by our students once again. The prize-winning work is Oct created by the student Maria from Department of Directing of our school. Then the short film Oct was subsequently shown at the scene, obtaining applauses and congratulations from audiences at end of movie.

Since the opening of the Asian College Film Festival, its influence has increased year by year and has become an important platform for academic and creative exchanges between Asian universities and young filmmakers. The culture becomes even more splendid due to exchanges. It is expected that the Asian University Film Festival will make more contributions to the further prosperity of Asian culture.
