The one-week joint photography workshop of BFA and Netherlands Film Academy was successfully held in BFA from March 27 to April 3. It is a joint project sponsored by Department of Cinematography, BFA after teachers and students of BFA went to Netherlands for a photography workshop last time.
Netherlands Film Academy attaches importance to the traditional cooperation with BFA and sent two professional teachers and four professional students to Beijing for the project. BFA also organized a professional photography team consisting of cinematography postgraduate students and film production international students who will work with teachers and students from Netherlands to finish photography of experimental short films in a week.
During the film shooting at photostudio, students of both academies learned from each other to solve lots of issues together, in particular, how to use light in closed space for HD cinecamera. The short films will be screened when the workshop comes to close. It’s known that Department of Photography of BFA plans to send teachers and students to Netherlands for a new joint photography workshop this October to deepen the cooperation between the two academies.
