On June 11, Mr. Neil Peplau - the CEO of Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and Ms. Elizabeth Hughes – the person in charge of its Department of Foreign Cooperation and Development paid a visit to BFA, and both parties exchanged their ideas on the cooperation in the film management major field. Professor Hou Guangming - Chairman of Academy Council of BFA, Li Ran – a teacher of International School of BFA, Zuo Yan – a teacher of International School of BFA, Mr. Ming Zhenjiang - the executive director of China Film Producers’ Association, and Mr. Zhang Chenzheng – the deputy secretary-general of Chinese Australian International Film Festival received the visitors together. 


During the talk, both parties introduced each other’s schools and departments and advantageous subjects, discussed the cooperation between two universities in the management major fields such as film production and distribution in the future, planned to promote the exchanges and cooperation in this major field through workshop, exchange student program and academic visit of professional teachers in the future, and to make both parties experience and participate in the projects produced by the professional film management teams of the two countries based on the producers’ association, film distribution corporations and film festivals of both countries. 


Afterwards, Mr. Neil Peplau and Ms. Elizabeth Hughes visited the History Museum and other departments of BFA.
