The film directed by Pofessor Xu Bin of BFA and Alumni Zhang Yimou won awards in the 6th Macau International Film Festival

On December 30, 2014, the 6th Macau International Film Festival was held in Macau. Black Mirror produced by the BFA Youth Film Corporation and directed by Pofessor Xu Bin won the Best Supporting Actress Award and the Best Cinematography Nomination Award. The winner of the Best Supporting Actress Award was Feng Bo, a 2008 graduate majoring in MFA. Coming Home directed by Alumni Zhang Yimou won four awards: the Best Film Award, the Best New Artist Award (Zhang Huiwen), the Best Cinematography Award (Zhao Xiaoding), and the Best Scriptwriter Award (Zou Jingzhi). Director Zhang Yimou won Chinese Globeflower Director Outstanding Contribution Award. Director Zhang Yimou, American film star Jean Claude Van Damme born in Belgium, Simon Yam, Charlene Choi, Ray Lui, Zhang Huijun (President of BFA), Professor Xu Bin, and Feng Bo (an actor from Black Mirror) attended the 6th Macau International Film Festival and Zhang Huijun was President of this festival.

Xiang Neng, Associate Professor of School of Performing Arts was awarded best actor at the 34th Miami International Film Festival
