Teachers’ works of BFA won many awards of Five “One” Project (a good book, a good TV series, a good play, a good film, a good article) of the 13th Cultural and Ideological Progress implemented by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.

On September 13, 2014, the assessment of Five “One” Project of the 13th Cultural and Ideological Progress implemented by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC was announced in Beijing. Animation film manufactured as the first manufacture by BFA, designed by 421 Animation Film Studio and directed by vice-president ZHANG Lijun won the prize of excellent animation works in film unit of Five “One” Project of the 13th Cultural and Ideological Progress. Only six animations got this prize in China. It was encouraging that other two teachers from BFA also won Five “One” Project prizes. The sky in Hakka earth building directed by professor ZHANG Hui, dean of School of Performing Arts, won Prize of Excellent Works in film unit and Tibet Secret directed by teacher LIU Debin won Prize of Excellent Works in TV play unit. The works created by teachers built united, forging ahead, vigorous and joyful atmosphere for the 65th anniversary of establishing the People's Republic of China, highlighted Chinese Dream topic to rejuvenate China, provided a valuable gift to the 65th anniversary of establishing the People's Republic of China, as well as brought great honor to BFA.

Five “One” Project of the 13th Cultural and Ideological Progress was advocated by the Party Central Committee and organized and implemented by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, and its purpose was to carry forward times theme, to promote create and produce model project of excellent spiritual and cultural products and to guide project. The evaluation was implemented from 1991, and at present its period was two times in five years, and its scope included 6 categories: drama, movies (including animation film), TV series (including TV cartoons, TV documentaries), radio drama, songs, and books (including literature books, popular theory books and children's moral reading books). Teachers and students in BFA won prizes in each time.
