Back to The Prairie directed by graduate YIN Liqi who graduated from Department of Directing of BFA in 2014 won the Narrative Short Gold Award of the 2nd DC Chinese Film Festival.

On September 7, 2014, the 2nd DC Chinese Film Festival was closed in Washington DC after 4 days. The Graduation Works Back to the Prairie directed by 2014 undergraduate YIN Liqi from Department of Directing of BFA won the Narrative Short Gold Award. The Graduation Works Can’t Piss directed by another undergraduate SONG Xinqi was shortlisted. DC Chinese Film Festival was to encourage free creation and international exchange of Chinese movie in the world.

This festival collect the most outstanding and the most pioneer youth short films and creator of Chinese movie, and widely invited people from all walks of life, including arts celebrities, and it had a week to show movies, to evaluate awards and to communicate and exchange ideas.

According to film festival committee, this film festival would hold Filmmaker BBS, show shortlisted works, and hold award ceremony to make Chinese Movie Feast and to provide exhibiting, exchanging, learning and cooperating platform for world filmmakers.
