BFA International School organized the teachers and students to make cultural investigation in Beijing Wtown, Miyun District on April 8. Beijing Wtown located in Miyun District, Beijing back against the most beautiful and most dangerous Simatai Great Wall is a rare natural historic village integrating mountain, water and town in Beijing. It covers an area of nine square kilometers including 430,000 square meters of exquisite mountain courtyard houses with style of Ming & Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. It is a good place for overseas students to learn Chinese architectural culture and Beijing suburban folk customs.

Beijing Wtown with over one-thousand-year history is natural, elegant and beautiful. Rows and rows of houses, the flagstone street and long alleys (Hutong) show the style and features of the northern ancient town in the Republic of China. In the town, there are lots of river channels. Branches of ancient Tanghe River run through the town and ancient buildings and houses are built above the water. Surrounded by fresh air, blue sky, white cloud, green water & wave and tall trees, the town is just like a little-known fictitious land of peace. Overseas students were greatly impressed by the environment and took pictures for it with their cameras.
